A Place to Return.to is a private online memorial where you and the people who loved someone can gather memories, photos, voices and stories in one place, for as long as you want to.

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for the content you and your circle upload. If someone else has your login, they can see everything you can — so treat it carefully.

• One payment of €49 per memorial. Not a subscription. Not a recurring charge.
• It includes 5 GB of storage, up to 25 circle members, permanent hosting, and everything we build in the future.
• 30-day full refund, no questions asked. Just email us.

• Trials last 90 days.
• Up to 200 MB and 5 members.
• After 90 days, the memorial is archived — nothing is deleted. Anyone can upgrade later and continue where you left off.
• If a trial memorial has no activity for 12 months, we'll email a warning and then permanently delete it.

Please don't upload:

• Anything illegal.
• Content that harasses or attacks someone.
• Impersonation of another person.
• Content you don't have the right to share.

• The person who created the memorial controls it — settings, members, and privacy.
• Every circle member owns the memories they contributed. If you leave, you can take yours with you.
• If the creator dies, any circle member can request transfer of ownership by emailing us. We'll handle it with care.

The creator can remove any content from their memorial. We only remove content ourselves when the law requires it or when there's clear abuse. Never editorially, never for taste.

If we ever have to cease operating, we commit to giving every memorial 12 months of notice and a full export of everything — photos, audio, video, text. That commitment is why we exist.

We'll always do our best. But we can't be liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us. Nothing here excludes liability the law says we can't exclude.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes go to the courts of the Netherlands.

If we change anything meaningful, we'll email you 30 days before it takes effect.
